It was Memorial Day weekend 2000 when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I had said the Sinner’s Prayer 20 years earlier, but my head and my heart never connected. It was such a vivid experience, I wanted everyone to know that Jesus will change your life, if you ask Him to. I decided to “give back” to the weekend event where I was first introduced to Jesus. I came up with a story to share, but Jesus stepped in to make it alive (see Lisa’s story under the My Story tab). I knew I was supposed to do something with this encounter, but I decided to wait until God told me to go. That time is now, 22 years after my initial experience. I can’t wait to see what He does next!
